 Windows 95 から Windows XP、Windows Server 2003 まで

 Windows XPまでのマイクロソフトの色管理機能は、「ICM」というものだった。ICMはライノタイプからライセンスした色変換エンジンをベースに、ICCプロファイルという国際標準の色特性ファイルを元に、異なる色再現域の間で色空間(カラースペース)の変換を行なうAPIセットだ。
